LLI goes to TOM6@ McGill

This weekend we had an excellent showing at the Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal conference on Semantics. Of our members, we had one invited talk (Dr. Raj Singh “Hurford Disjunctions and Embedded Implicatures”), two paper presentations (Liz Christie “Testing the argument status of the unaccusative resultative” and Sebastien Plante “Types of nominalized verbs in a light verb context”) and two poster presentations (Amir Anvari “Crossreferencing and accommodation” and Maryam Hosseini Fatemi “The semantics of the Persian object marker ra).

Thank you to everyone who came with us to the conference, and well done to our participating members.
